Students Comments:

After a stressful month, we can honestly say Sigong Mike Bakers seminar was the breath of fresh air we both needed.
Although we were the only two students attending for Qi Gong, the teaching and support we received during the evening felt like a private lesson.
We came away from the seminar invigorated, with a greater understanding of how subtle adjustments can make big differences to our practice, and the importance of "not just going through the motions".
A big thank you  to Sigong and Sifu for such a great evening!
Paul & Francine

It was great to see Sigong again for his annual visit. His explanation of posture and technique regarding Chun Yuen was invaluable, as were his comments about the subtleties of correct stance to maintain structure in Wing Chun’s opening stance. We look forward with great relish to his next visit’. Eric and June

‘Great seminar – I learnt so much. Big thanks to Tai-Sigong for sharing his experience and skill with us’. Neil

‘I found the seminar very useful in my journey of Wing Chun. It was a pleasure to Chi Sau and to learn with Tai-Sigong Mike Baker. I would recommend to anyone to attend a Wing Chun seminar’. Gary

I did enjoy the seminar, and I'm happy to have met my Sigong and Tai-Sigong. Thank you, I really enjoyed the lessons and I'm sure it will help stop people from hitting me in the face as much’, James

Very enjoyable seminar. Really good to see Sifu back in Beccles and having three generations of students altogether and four generations with Sifu. Natasha

Students comments:

I really enjoyed Sigong Mike Baker's visit to Beccles. I learnt a lot from him polishing two of my qigong forms. He gave some great advice and pointed out some very useful (and subtle) things.
I look forward to incorporating it all into my practise.
Thank you,
Martin

"It was with great anticipation that we awaited Sigong's third annual visit to our class in Beccles. As usual the wait was definitely worth it. It is amazing at how Sigong is able to explain the subtleties of Wing Chun and Qigong in a such a simplistic and easy to understand way. Each question was answered in depth and with a demonstration. Sigong's frame belies his power which is incredible. In one Wing Chun demonstration he performed a simple push that felt like I'd been knocked over by a small car...amazing!

The clarity that we learned with regards to Wing Chun and Qigong was very important. These tiny little adjustments make all the difference to our forms and it is astounding how you manage to always find something that you'd never really noticed before when watching Sigong.

The only complaint that we have is that someone seems to be moving the clock hands forward, as the time went so fast that we couldn't quite believe that two hours had gone by in what seemed like the space of a moment.

We are looking forward to Sigong's return visit next year, and look forward to learning more about the arts that we love so much whether it be Wing Chun, Chun Yuen or Qigong. Many thanks for your help as always Sigong, and many thanks to Sifu for arranging the seminar.

Kind Regards
Eric and June Paule

I learnt alot from Sigong's visit. Now I have to try to put into practice what I have learnt.

Another great Seminar, I was able to see the nuances of Wing Chun from a different perspective.
More please!

'Really lovely to see Sifu back for his third year. Sifu managers to relay simply how forms should be and so the learning process is deepened for the experience. Much to digest.

Other classes taught in Beccles

The two other classes taught in Hungate Hall Beccles on a Thursday besides Wing Chun
are Chun Yuen Quan (Northern Shaolin Fist)
and Wild Goose Qigong both good for health.

Here you see Eric practicing the Basic form called Xing Sau means style or shape of hand.

Chun Yuen Quan is good for your health and will make your body light and flexible. It will help the posture and make your joints strong. Internally it builds up strong circulation and Qi, so if you suffer damp conditions which Chinese medicine call which the west refers to as Arthritus this will help to disperse through regular practice.
'I think people think they have to be young or fit to try Chun Yuen Quan but all people's of any age and level of fitness are welcome. You can take it easier, making the stances higher and doing the movements slower and still benefit from the form'.

June is practicing through Leval 3 of the Healthy Living Gong series. Balancing Gong and Healthy Living Gong Level 1,2 & 3 were created by Master Michael Tse of the Tse Qigong Centre out of his 40 years of Qigong and Martial Art experience.
June is practicing the move called Dragon Tunnelling under the Sea which is good for legs, shoulders and coordination.
Wild Goose Qigong is suitable for all level of fitness and beginners welcome.

If you wish to find out further about Balancing Gong and Healthy Living Gong Series they are produced on DVD via the http://www.tseqigongcentre.com/index.html
